PayPal to pay through their gateway.
Sorry,
we no longer accept Money Orders or Checks.
COMBINED
SHIPPING:
We will do
our best to reduce package weight to save you shipping costs.
|
Domestic (US)
Shipping:
Generally,
we
prefer to use US Postal Service Priority mail.
Some
small, durable items may be shipped by First Class mail.
Media Mail
is reserved for books, catalogs, CDs, etc
Dimensional
weight:
In May of
2007 the US Post Office instituted a new rate
scale for any
box
that
measures over 1 cubic foot. Anything larger, they charge by the
size of
the box rather than the actual weight.
For
example:
A large
item, such as a Fisher Price Play House, may weigh only 6 or 7
pounds,
however
because of it's size, it will be charged as is it weighed 20
pounds.
For larger
items we
recommend using UPS ground or Parcel Post.
Fortunately,
most of our items are relatively small.
Insurance:
We
go to extreme lengths to carefully
pack each item for shipping and
are NOT
responsible for items lost or broken in the mail.
We
will be
more than
happy to add postal insurance at your
request.
We
use Endicia.com Postal Services and prefer their postal
insurance for a number of reasons:
1
- They are easier to use. (We do it on line)
2
- They are cheaper. (We pass that savings to the customer)
3
- It is easier to file a claim.
4
- They also cover S/H costs in the
claim. (USPS covers only the value of the item)
We
will be happy to use USPS insurance, but only if it is specifically
requested.

International
Shipping:
The
buyer is responsible for ANY and ALL duties
that may be imposed.
As a rule
we will not use our business
labels
and do not include an invoice.
International
shipping can be expensive and we advise all international
buyers to contact us about shipping costs before purchasing.
Changes
in postal regulations in 2007 made big changes in International
shipping.
The basic
choices are:
First
Class Mail International (only
for packages
under 5 pounds.)
Priority
Mail International
Express
Mail International
Priority and Express Mail packages are
partially insured based on the declared value and use the Customs
number for tracking.
The rule
for Flat Rate shipping is that the items must fit in special
box or envelope.
(The Small
Flat Rate Box is about the size of a VCR tape and is barely
cardboard.)
Note:
International
mail is
not subject to the dimensional weight
mentioned above and
To speed
delivery it is helpful to provide a phone number that
we can include on the shipping label. (A phone number makes
it
easier for your local post office to arrange delivery and assures that
it is being shipped to a real person and is a harmless package.)
|
Returns:
We
go to great
lengths to accurately describe our items and we answer all e-mails with
questions.
If
an item is
not as described, it may be returned for a refund of the purchase
price, exclusive of
return shipping.
If
payment was
by credit card, the refund will be in the form of a credit to your
account.
